parents like this suck. the best you can really do is ignore them. I'm not saying don't listen when they tell you to do something [ie, don't denie the request 'get out of the house'], i'm saying ignore the hurtful aspect of their comments

Gwyn, you not knowing why you might have been told this does not necessarily mean that you're not doing something that has provoked the response. As we've discussed, you can be quite nasty without recognizing it.

I suppose we have to wait for the OP's response, but I think it's important to try understand things from the other's perspective (in this case, the parents).

sure they might get angry at something you have done but they love you mroe then anything or else they wouldnt have had you
to your parents your the best thing that ever happened to them trust me i know the feeling that you think ''ha funny wome'' but they wouldnt be able to live without you around so just hold your head up high and smile and be thankful your around
