probably about 2000 times, im in great shape, graduating highschool this year and going to college. It keeps me relaxed so i sort of accept the few side effects.

yea i love weed (not promoting) i have anxiety issues so it really help a lot better than my meds. (not to mention it completly gets rid of my adhd hyperness.)

I haven't, but I was close once. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to say that I never will try it, because I think I will. I'd rather smoke weed than drink (which I've never done either). Nobody pressured me to do weed though. It was at a party with about 100 people (grad party a couple of weeks ago) and only about 10 people smoked it. I don't even think that many people knew there was weed there. People did try to get me to drink with no avail. There were only 2 sober people out there, so yeah that was fun. The two of us were making bets on who we thought would fall in the fire first and we got it right too. It's fun to watch drunk people.

You'd better not try it. Remember, my dad was addicted to weed, may be still, and I'm pretty sure it's worse than drinking a beer here and there. As I stated in another post, my dad almost killed himself driving out of a driveway that was 10 feet long when high off weed.It can screw you up pretty good.

The only people I truly respect are those who have never tried drugs in their lives. I want to be able to respect you, Jared.

Yeah lots of things like being high, being drunk or any type of hallucinogens pared with a car always end badly. But most people don't smoke weed and drive. But just remember that if anyone is ever addicted to weed, its a psychological addiction, not a physical addiction like cigarettes are.

Uh-huh, still.It just shows what kind of stupid things you can end up doing while you're on it. The only safe place to do it is in a padded room, and even then you're killing yourself. I don't care what anyone says, I am going by experience.

Alcohol has no affect on your body at all if you just drink say a bottle of beer and wait the right amount of time (can't give exact statistics) before drinking any more.


Heavy drinking, that's bad. Really bad. But though I never plan to touch a drop of alcohol in my life, I can say it is better than pot.

Yea but your assuming that everyone smokes one joint, gets fucked and does stupid things. marijuana is just like drinking in the sense that the high you get the stupider the things you do are. just like how getting drunker and drunker impares your judgment more and more. you cant compare one bottle of beer to one joint because they're not the same, just like how if you smoke lets say half a joint and you would be fine, wait a little smoke the other half ect. just like beer.

i used to have a drinking problem and trust me weed is a lot better. you get really high, all you do is get really hungry, laugh a lottt and get really lazy and maybe fall asleep.
drinking you throw up, get angry or emotinal, not remeber things the next day ect.

laughing is a very well known effect of marijuana. weed calms you down, and relaxes you, so no offence but maybe you dad was on more than one substance :S

Rex obviously has bad experiences with pot that Tegan and Rudi don't have. I think they should respect that. He has a very, very good reason why he doesn't want anything to do with pot and everyone should respect that. I completely respect that. Pot doesn't affect everybody in the same way.

I agree with you. I fully respect Rex's point of view, alls I'm saying is there are some affects of pot, and some that aren't, and Rex's dad's experience sounds like something more than just pot (He probably had no clue). I respect that he doesn't want anything to do with it, and frankly, I think he's smart not to do drugs.

But to sum it all up, GENERALLY smoking weed isn't as bad as drinking beer.

But thats almost never the case. Most people that will drink 1 beer will eventually drink another, then another and so on. I'm not saying that you will but thats normally what happens. But if it was smoking weed, you could take another hit and nothing would really happen other than you getting higher ;) You can't overdose on weed but you can drink to much alcohol.

I can understand how you wouldn't what to do weed from what you've seen happen to your dad. Oddly, I don't know a lot of people who would drive when they're high because they're relaxed. My friend who does smoke a lot lives like right across the street from a bunch of fast food places that he goes to. He normally just walks over ^^ Maybe it's because I don't know a lot of people that have ever gotten high and had anything to do with a car except for maybe sitting on it.

Just remember that if anyone is EVER addicted to weed, its a psychological addiction meaning all he has to do is control himself, where as say, smoking cigarettes are a physical addiction because your body wants and craves the nicotine from them. I'm not sure why your dad would be yelling.....
