There is this one kid... his father is 195 cm tall, while his mum is also a big women at 174 cm. At ten, he measures 163 cm tall, and he is going to be eleven in july. How tall is that kid going to be eventually? What will be his adult height?

My father is 175 cm tall while my mother is 167 cm tall. How tall am I going to be eventually?

Is there even the slightest possibility I can eventually grow taller then a guy with better genes? Or does that take a miracle?

I tried to culculate peoples adult height, couldn't do it properly for the calculators work with inches and I'm no good with them. Besides, there are also other factors, so I would look like to have some of your opinions here. Some suggestions.

I would like to hear from you the importance of healthy diet, vitamins and stuff in the growth of someone. Will people with the same genes, for example, differ in height if one of them eats better and lives more healthy then the other one?

Suggestions, anyone? Anyone knows more about the subject, or knows someone on here who does? Each and every comment would be welcome! :)

(175cm=5"7')

Height is genetically determined, you can approximate your height by looking at both your parents and grandparents and guestimate that you'll be somewhere near their height, typically the height of the same sex parent. Also, with each generation, there's an increase (usually) of a couple of inches, due to advances in medical care and nutrition, etc. So, if your dad is 175cm, then you'll probably be a few cm's taller.

Eating well, taking good care of yourself, always helps, but unless you've experienced some real trauma like malnourishment or a severe disease, there isn't much you can do to either gain (or lose) height, nor will loading up on supplements like vitamins, etc, do much, either, as height is biologically/genetically determined.
