I have this friend that is a girl and she is been a close friend for a while and I was just wondering. What do you say when asking a girl out? Every time I get the chance to, I draw blanks and to make up for stuttering I say you look pretty or something like that, so how do you ask out a girl?

just say something like
'hey i was wondering if you could quite possibly want to go out with me'
trust me, the best way to do it is just ask
don't beat around the bush

maybe you should think about what you want to say before hand, so when the time comes you'll know how to say it. i agree with the post above, just ask her straight out. there is no point beating around the bush.

Try not to make it sound "scripted".
Just say, "I'm not doing anything Saturday, I was wondering since I hate to be myself, would you like to join me and go to the movies?"
Something like that you know.

Thanks for the advice, but I asked her friend if she likes me anymore than just a friend and If I should "Get in the batters box with her", but she Said "I was out of her league". I dont know if I should or not now, but if I do I dont know if she is Mature enough to not make fun of me or tell everyone I got rejected.

If you're worried about being rejected then you should just say "Would you ever go out with me?" during a conversation that's already random. That if she asks why say, "Just wondering..."
If she says no. Then leave it as that, because you didn't actually ask her out, you've not been rejected :D
If she says "Dunno" or "Maybe" (or something similar) it usually means yes but she doesn't want you to know incase you don't fancy her. So, you should then just say "Well, think about it, because I'd like to ask you out."
If she says yes, then congratulations (although you may need to confirm that you are going out - maybe ask her out properly) ^-^

Causally bring it up in conversation. Be like, "I've liked you for some time, and wondered if you felt the same way."
Hope I helped.

Just ask. The only thing that can go wrong is you just ask is that she may say "no".

Huh...I see. Just try to strear away from asking her on the internet if you can. Phone is not a bad way, but you can never go wrong with asking her in person. If she is on vacation it might be okay. I don't know, up to you.
Though I am lost...Are you asking her out on a date or are you asking her to be your girl?
