On Tuesday the 13th, my grade went on a field trip to a planetarium and museum. On the way down I sat alone, which was fine with me. I wasn't really feeling that good. It was also really hot and none of the windows were open either. So by the time the hour or so bus ride was over, I really had to pee, needed a drink, and walk around. So I get inside, walk around a bit to stretch, went to the bathroom and got some water. My group walked around the museum a bit first, and I started to feel a bit better. What I thought that was kind of strange though was that Kalvin, a kid in my grade was hanging around with us. My friends sort of hang out with him, but not a lot. I find him annoying sometimes. So after lunch, we went into the planetarium, and I sat in between Kalvin and my friend Hanna or Cathy, I'm not sure which one, but it isn't really relevant. Me and Kalvin were kind of talking a little bit, and I kept hitting him in the face on accident. I went to get his attention, and I would hit him in the face. I ended up punching his hand as a joke, but he grabbed my wrist and bit me. Not hard, being mean or anything, just fooling around. But my friends kept going to me and him "Shut up you two!" So when the lights turned back on I looked at my hand and was like "Kalvin! You left a mark! It looks like I got bit by a snake or something!" So the rest of the trip was uneventful, Kalvin was in a different group, so we didn't see each other till the end. When we got on the bus, a teacher made Kalvin move up, so he just sat with me. For the first 20 minutes or so, we were just talking about anything, and playing the alphabet game. I really suck at that. Anyways, we talked about best vacation, favorite color, that sort of getting to know you sort of thing. I found out that he was leaving to go to Florida the next day, and wasn't going to be in school the next week (this week was when he was gone) I thought nothing of this information really. But on the way home I bit him as a joke, but did it a lot harder than I meant. It might have been my braces too. So we got off the bus, and left school. My mom and I were in the car that afternoon, and we passed his house. He was outside, and he smiled at me. It wasn't a "hey, I know you, I'm just gonna be polite and smile at you" sort of thing, it was a genuine "Hey, what's up. Have a nice day. Happy to see you" smile. Kalvin left for Florida the next day, and by Friday, I had forgotten he was even going anywhere, I hadn't noticed he was gone. But on Saturday he messaged me on Myspace, and was like "Hey, what's up?" I thought nothing of it, because I didn't remember he wasn't here.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is I think he likes me. I don't want him to, because I don't like him like that. I just want to be friends, if that. What if he says something, or asks me out. I don't like him like that. I'm really bad at saying "I think we should just be friends" stuff. I feel soooooo bad. Ugh, I'm such an idiot. All I want is for him to just not like me.

well if he's around your age any move from a girl is gonna catch his attention. If he asks just tell him you don't like him that way. Nothing wrong with it, he'll just have to move on. Just be sweet and nice when you say it, and it should be all good.

Well long distance relationships don't last that long anyways. Don't know if that helps at all.

He lives in my town, like 5 minutes away from me.

Oh I'm sorry. I thought he moved far away. Do you have feelings for him?
