cutting do for ya'll? I've been through some stuff myself but never had the urge to harm myself. I've punched walls and hit the weights, and ran for miles. Is it a interal method of that?

Well what does punching walls do for you?

It's all the same, just another dangerous way to let it out.

when your body gets inflicted by harm like punching a wall or cutting, the brain releases endorphins which make people feel good and feel less pain.

Cutting can be addictive, and you can see it in forums where people can't stop. When I'm really irritated or pissed, I just yell, punch walls, throw stuff. =\

Its a way with dealing with ones problems. Sometimes even a way of expressing ones self.

Cutting is probably the one done my most.

When I used to cut,
It was never with suicidal tendancies.

It was my way of letting my emotions out,
A reassurance that I was still a real person.
It kept me from going into a manic spiral most times.
