well everyone develops at different times and the changes happen in different orders. basically puberty is very unpredictable. for him to be that developed, your friend must have started puberty quite early. you just need to be patient, you will develop in time. puberty can continue until your early 20's so you have heaps of time to develop yet.

Most likely he was an early bloomer, you are in the normal range. You should expect changes in the next couple of years. Don't worry. You don't have to be gay to be curious and glance over at other guys penises, we all do it, weather we want to admit it or not.
Edit: GAH! Ninja'd!

fourseasons is right! It's very unpredictable. It's so unpredictable that in a few months, the next time you spend the night, you could have a bigger wang then him. Though if his pubic hair is thick then it might be becuase he shaves or trims. Plus, haveing thick hair is not anything to be jelious of. Unless it's in style now...haha.

Well just that your 13 says it all.
Most people start puberty at around 13, so you are perfectly fine.
Even if you start a little bit late, it won't really matter, because everyone grows at different rates.
Also, the original post was May 24th.
Less than a month ago.
You can't expect to suddenly have a 6 in (average adult size) penis and thick pubic hair.
You have at least 7 YEARS before you're done with puberty, so relax and enjoy it :)
As for the looking at his penis don't worry, most people glance out of curiosity.

just give it time... i recently turned 13 and i hit puberty a couple months back, give it some time and i now realize it doesn't matter too much when u hit puberty... and who knows, ur wang could be twice his size in adulthood:yeah::yeah::yeah:. i'm about ur age and my penis is about the same as when i was a child if that makes u feel better...;)

Its not the size that matters, its how you use it! And the fact is about penis size, as much as its hyped up ... Chicks don't care all that much. I'm pretty small for a 17 year old, but none of my ex partners have ever said a thing, or even looked at me differently.
And as far as puberty goes man, you are in the normal range.
Puberty can begin anywhere between the ages of 8-18 - it varies GREATLY!
So for a 13 year old to have not started yet is perfectly normal, I hadn't started at that age at all, and yet I'm either done, or very close to done with puberty now.
And looking at your friends penis DOES NOT make you gay man, not in the slightest. It is natural to be curious, so don't feel bad or ashamed about that EVER.
Good luck with the bumpy puberty ride, the next few years (or months) will hold some of the most exciting changes in your body ever!

Because everyone's genetics are different all of us are going to develop differently. I would not worry if your friend is more developed than you as he probably is just an early bloomer, and you will catch up soon enough.
Basically, don't compare apples to oranges as you are a unique person who is unlike anyone else physically.

Well your friend most likely started puberty before you (the first signs of pubety are testicular enlargement and pubic hair). As everyone has stated before, everyone developes at different rates. Also if you glance around at another guy's penis is doesn't necessarily mean your gay, it just ment you were curious and curiousity is caused mainly by hormones.
