Yes i do belive in aliens lol there is so much that we don't know yet. But supposively my g ma said that slyvia browne said that aliens look like us work with us and everything they just haven't showed themselves yet they're eyes are reflected such as a deer's or a dog's eyes. They might only be one race or ethnic group of alien that she knows of but they are expected to show themselves in the year 2010 but yes i do belive the goverment has differnt aliens and other secert things they are hiding from us epsecially are 51. well post your thoughts!!!!!!!!:lol:

Are there are other complex beings in outer space? Almost definitely.

Will we ever have true proof of them? Probably not... As the most likely possibility is that they are billions of light years away, and at the moment we don't have anywhere near the technology required to travel such a distance... Maybe in a few thousand years, if the world is still in tact, we will make contact with aliens, or vice versa.. But I highly doubt it...

ehh well i think they will come to us. i think they are waaay smarter than us and will think we're stupid (and be mad maybe?) for hurting the earth but who knows i think they might even show themselves as expected in 2010

I doubt it... Even if they had the technology to say, communicate with us, in comparison, we probably don't have technology even close to that [assuming they are more technologically advanced to that] and thus they would be unable to communicate... And they would most likely send an un"manned" probe to Earth before actually showing themselves... But I still say that if we are ever to have true proof it will be in a few hundred to a few thousand years. There is also the theory that we are ALL aliens...

The theory I've heard about states that all of us were formed by molecules/atoms from outerspace, thus the molecules we are composed of came from outerspace, so we are technically aliens [that's the theory in a nutshell, it's a bit more complicated than that, a part of it even states that we may have evolved from organisms that originated from other planets that traveled by way of meteor to Earth... but yeah, it's a little above my head]

I agree. The universe goes on FOREVER, so how could there NOT be another planet with life? It's just not possible that there isn't another one. But i do doubt we will ever see such a being, since it is extremely unlikely for life to start on a planet, and if searched for one, it would take so long in outer space, people would die before they got to the planet (assuming humans will never travel faster than the speed of light)

Well evryone has different thoughts on this but i think i might stick to mine and i thinks humans will never travel faster than the speed of sound i doubt that we can travel in a vaccum of light in space

^^ Yes, that is very true... I hope we do discover life on a foreign planet in my lifetime though... I hope they find some microscopic organism on one of Jupiter's moons or something... It would be cool if there was actually another inhabitable planet/moon in our solar system...

The universe is infinity, it goes on forever. So in an infinite universe, there are infinite possibilities. This means there are worlds with people just like us. Worlds can be highly advanced or as dumb as cavemen ***prepares lawsuit with Geico caveman***

So, anything is possible even aliens and it IS possible they are more advanced, but more likely just as smart as us. They have been here as long as we have, so they cant be that much more advanced than us. The government knows more about aliens than the average citizen, but "truthishly" we should just accept it.

Anyways, I just noticed the title of this thread is New Aliens Thread... So where are the new aliens? I've been wanting to take one out for a test drive.

I do believe that is maybe life in other planets or galaxy that can be like us,

but i don't believe in aliens like in the movies.

There is pretty much a 100% chance of life outside our planet. Period. :D

As for how advanced the life is; there are probably gazillions (yes... gazillions) of planets out there at various different stages of developement. Some may just be starting to have bacteria. Others may have sea life that is starting to go on land much like Earth. So like we've said before it's likely that most "aliens" that actually ARE advanced are only as advanced scientifically as WE are. Granted they may be more advanced than us in SOME ways (maybe they have better tasting airline food :D) but that means that WE probably have some more advanced things than they do (such as tastier candy! :D).

I honestly think that the only hope for contact with alien life in OUR lifetime would be to discover bacteria of some kind on Mars or some extrasolar planet close to us. That's probably the most "advanced" we can find with the technology we have right now.

Who knows... in thousands of years, if humans haven't killed each other by then, we may just go to other planets like Star Trek... for real!

When I was 10 or so, I was looking up at the sky one night and saw something red and shiny. I thought that it was Mars, so naturally I went and got my dad's binoculars out of the pickup so that I could get a closer look at it since it was pretty close.

Well... I look through the binoculars and it's no planet. It was a spacecraft shaped like a hamburger with windows in it, and in one of the windows was a figure looking at the earth.

Believe it or not, I know what I saw, and that was a UFO with an alien life form in the window. I even went and got my dad to come outside and take a look and he was dumbfounded.

Besides that, there is no way that there is all that empty space out there and nothing else living in it but us.

I agree with what someone claimed before. There is no way in hell that there is this big-old universe sitting around empty. There has to be another type of living being AKA an alien.

Under the ice of Jupiter's moon Io they have discovered organisms. Not much, but it is something. They'll most likely never evolve though for the coldness there.

^^ Yeah, it's cool how so many microscopic organisms can survive harsh climates... But how they grow almost less "specialized" as they evolve... But yeah, it would be cool to one day encounter beings from a foreign planet/moon/whatever that are as complex or even more complex than humans... But it's probably never going to happen [as I've stated again and again...]

I just watched, it, and I have to say it's fake. When the guys are talking it sounds like they're forcing the words out, the tape recording sounds faked, and the whole thing is just way too typical. I seriously doubt aliens would act like that, and where would they have come from, anyways? The nearest star is 4 light years away, they could live on a piece of rock somewhere, but how could they become so advanced like that?

I don't think the gov't. is hiding anything we don't already know from us... I'm not sure the gov't. has any true proof of aliens. I think at best they may have pieces of a destroyed ship [though I still don't think aliens have seriously come in contact with us, I think it's all in people's heads], or maybe what's left of a dead alien... Or who knows what... But I don't think they have anything fully intact. If they seriously had alien technology, it's not something they really would want to keep hidden... But if they do, and it's a weapon of some sort, we know it will be used on the Middle East sooner than later...
