Hopefully, you'll get a much different (and accurate) sense of who we Americans are by being here! Like you, we're not so much 'undisciplined', but rather we value the needs of the individual and try to take them into consideration. To some, that might seem 'unruly', but to us, it's just freedom to express yourself. Isn't that what you're trying to do with your family?
I understand the cultural piece here, your folks are reacting to something they find intolerable, your assignment in a language of (what they see) as their oppressors. However, you might very respectfully point out to them that it is not your idea, nor disrespect, here, but rather the assignment of your teachers. Try to help them see the language requirement as coming form your superiors, not a choice of yours.
It might be easier for them to accept the language requirement as one coming form school authorities, rather than a sign of your disrespect. Make that clear to them, that it's the school authorities, not you. And, if they still have a problem with this, maybe they could take it up with them. But get out of the middle here, it's not your choice to write it in a language they find repugnant. For you, it's just completing a school assignment. Keep it on that level.

define 'disiplin' in your words please. do you mean being hit?
you could (now this may be late) rush to finish the report, then to hand it in, translate to simplified.
maybe you can meet with your teachers to explain some of this

I would tell her that you didn't finish it in time. Sorry don't know how to help out :(
As Gwyn said, can you give us some more definition and a bit better spelling. Or else we can't help.

Maybe you can talk to the teacher? Because I hate to say it, but you Mom might have her reasons. Religion, etc.
