Okay, so theres this girl that I like, she likes me but im not confident enough (thats what she says), and she likes someone else who she really doesnt have a chance with right now because he has a girlfriend. So we tried being closer a couple times but she backed off after a couple days saying i wasnt confident and outgoing enough. I want to make it work but i dont want to make it awkward now because she backed off, but wants to stay friends.

I really need help here, idk what to do...
