So this past weekend I was at Wal-Mart and I decided to buy the movie known as "Cloverfield".

Now this movie at first was about a man who was promoted to vice president of his company and had to leave to Japan. But, the party is interupted when something crashes into "US-447" otherwise known as Central Park.

When the party goers go to investigate outside, the Statue of Liberty's head goes flying into the streets of Manhatten.

Through the course of the film, you see how much terror one thing can cause. This film is unlike any others. It is all captured from a home video camera. Be cautious that it may make you a little motion sick so take some tiem inbetween some scenes ;).

When it all ends, there are only two of them left. They are caught under a bridge in Central Park. They say their last goodbyes to the camera just before a missle that was meant to strike the Alien monster it hits the bridge they were under and it falls.

Duke's Grades:

Story: A- (good but not that good)
Special Effects: A (great effects but not to the point that it looks real)
Directing: A +

Thank you for reading Duke's movie review on "Cloverfield"
