1. does your voice crack before you start growing? or vice versa?
2. how come alot of people shoot through puberty over the summer?
like one of my friends was about 4'7" when school got out and then when i saw him again he had a deep voice, he was like 5', and he had massive amount of leg hair.

1. It depends. Everybody starts differently so some people may get voice changes before they see major growth, while others my be tyrants but have high voices until later in puberty.
2. Maybe it's an illusion, because you don't see them every day over the summer, so whenever you see them next, their changes are a lot more noticable. Know what I mean?
Like, during the school year, people can grow a lot, but it probably won't be as noticable because you see it progress very slowly over the entire school year.
But over the summer, you don't see your friend for a long time, so they still change the same way, but it's kind of like looking at "before and after" pics, you just see the before and after, and not the inbetween, so it seems like they had a growth spurt.

What do you mean growing? If you mean puberty as growing then no. You enter puberty first and then your voice begins to deepen and expand often leading to voice cracks. In some people it happens a lot but in some people it doesn't. A kid at my school, his voice is like a roller-coaster. It is always cracking when he is embarrased, scared, etc. It is actually quite funny. So yeah.
On to the second part.
Well, they do not go through puberty entirely over the summer. They usually go through a large growth spurt and look a little more mature. Like said, they are not going though puberty entirely. I think it is that you do not see the person for a long time and then they have somewhat small changes but noticeable changes and you may kinda get stuck on that :P.
Hope that helped.

Well. Depends.. Not everybody goes through puberty the same way, or at the same time. So it depends. y voice isnt even fully developed.

As your body grows, the vocal cords do too, making your voice deeper. When its in between, itll go back and forth, from a higher voice to a deeper one.
2. how come alot of people shoot through puberty over the summer?
People dont just start growing in the summer. Its because you dont see them for so long, you remembered them differently. If you see them every single day in the summer, Im sure you wouldnt notice a thing.

Everybody goes through puberty at a different rate, and with certain changes occurring at specific times. Its not a set regime, so the voice might be the first thing to change, or it might be the last.
It all depends mate, its all normal, some kids go through puberty over a much shorter period than that of other children.
