I have noticed that my penis and scrotum has become a much darker color than the rest of my skin.

Is this a normal thing? Is this due to excessive masturbation?

I am uncut, unshaven, and masturbate about 10 times a week.

This is COMPLETELY normal, it just means you are getting your "adult" skin down there. No, it's not due to excessive masturbation. And 10 times a week is normal for masturbating.

I think it is becuase when your scrotum is tense and together it's the conjumpled skin. Its all together therefore its darker. For instance, the skin in your elbows or knees will be darker when its closed because its more skin in one spot. I know that is a really guessed explanation but I think it just gives us a working answer :P

The darkening is the result of increased pigmentation of the scrotum (an increase in production of natural skin pigment or darkeners), triggered by (what else?) hormones. I'm not exactly sure what function this serves, I'd suspect it (as well as pubic hair) is a biological way of signalling sexual maturity.
