I've had my period and I had sex for the first time 3 days ago and we did not use protection. I'm not sure if i'm pregnant. What are some signs that I might be pregnant? Beacause if I am my boyfriend will flip. As a Catholic I know it was wrong to have sex before marrige. Please help. By the way i'm 14. But I havn't taken a pregnancy test yet but I don't know how to buy it from the store do I just go in and buy it. Is there a age restriction?

Well, it's probably too early to tell just now. You probably mark your calendar for your next period, so you know to have supplies in your backpack, right? If not, try to remember the day your last period started (it's ok if you're off by a few), and mark your calendar for four weeks after that day. If you don't get your period within one week after that day, buy a pregnancy test. No one will question you, and there is no age restriction. You should probably buy two and, if it comes back positive, wait until you need to pee again and take the second. Since your family is Catholic, it'd be best to be sure before breaking the news to them. Just sit your parents down and tell them. They might be angry or upset at first, but you are their daughter and they won't do anything to hurt you. You'll need to see a doctor to confirm the pregnancy and to make sure everything is looking good, so make sure that gets set up.

For right now though, just calm down. Yes, you might be pregnant. But you also might not. If you and your boyfriend have sex again, BE SURE to use protection. Now that you know how scary it is to realize what a mistake you may have just made, I'm sure you won't have any trouble remembering that.
