I think you need so many posts before you can post photos. I know for sure you need 10 posts before posting links, but I'm not 100% on how many before photos. It should be covered in the Rules or the FAQ, which iJack has posted links to.

Welcome. Well you posted your picture in the wrong spot :P
Just take that image link then go to the UserCP and then on the left it will say Edit Avatar. Simply add it there and then it will show up on all of your posts.
