Do they look intentional? if not, dont worry, blame it on a pet, sibling, or ignore them. If so, put bandages on the worst ones, and ignore the people who make fun of you, your friends shouldn't, and if they do, they arent your friends.
Hope this helps:)

Tell your therapist. It's the best for you, she will help you stop cutting, and then you'll be rid of the problem forever if that happens.

as hard as it may be telling your therapist is the best thing you can do in this situation.
The only way to not get caught cutting is to not cut at all.

so i meant to talk to my therapist about it today at my appointment
(i was actually going to tell her that i was deathly afraid of water because of a pool accident a couple years ago)
but my mom sat in on the whole appointment and we had to talk about how i dont respect her and dumb shit like that and i didnt have a change to.
and we start swimming this coming monday.
and i dont have another appointment until the 30th.
so i have to tell my poor little drowning story to my pe teacher and pray he believes me............................
Dx this is not working out very well ><
thanks for all the advice though.......

If they look that bad, then say that they are stretch marks. Sorry, but that's all I can say.

There are 2 issues here. First, the issue of finally sharing your cutting history with the therapist (and maybe your folks, too). And the other is what to do about it (which include your P/E concerns). Maybe the 2 are interrelated, the common issue being your need now to disclose something very personal that you might not feel ready to.
With regard to P/E, I would not suggest talking with the teacher about this, unless you are pretty sure of his (favorable) response. The risk being that he might do/say something that will make you feel even more vulnerable than you already do. If you need to talk with someone, try your guidance counsellor or other trusted school person. But, be prepared for them to probably share this with your folks, too, as your situation might cross that 'self injurious' line that they need to report. Again, this might not be a bad thing, but you should be the one in control of it.
It might be helpful to realize that although those scars are meaningful and personal for you, that's not the way everyone else will experience them. If they do notice, you can casually dismiss them somehow. Maybe with this in mind, it might be better to tackle one issue at a time, going to gym might be easier to manage.
With regards to the therapist issue, I think you should tell her about your cutting history. She is there to help you and support you and work with you to not feel so bad about yourself, as well as help you find other ways of dealing with these feelings when they surface. Often, I think people fear bringing up painful things not so much out of apprehension of the therapist's reaction, but rather how painful the experience is for them, it's like reliving the experience all over. But it's not. Processing it, talking about it with a professional, is the way you get over it. It only hurts fior a little while, then you're done with it. Holding on to it is forever.
Go to gym, have a good swim, don't be too preoccupied with other's reaction to you (they're probably too self absorbed to notice your legs, anyway), and plan on telling your therapist next visit. Take a deep breath and do it.

(omg Sam where have you been) Maybe this is a sign that it's time to come clear with your therapist. Just tell her and you'll feel a lot better about it.

Yeah I was about to say 'blame it on your period', but then I wasn't sure if you were a girl or a guy (I'm not around here much to know these things) XD
But still talk to your therapist when you get the chance =)
All the best sweetie

Ahh you need more than one excuse?
I didn't know periods could last for that long lol, worth a try, his a bloke, so he won't know any better XD
Heres a funny story that just ocurred to me, that might make you smile, one time in science, when I used to be in school, my friend needed to go to the bathroom (because of womenly issues) and our teacher Mr Mole was a useless male, and was like 'just hold it in Kat' and carried on and then Jenny came out with something like 'Sir do you have a UTERUS? I don't think you quite understand the situation, what do you want her to do? Bleed all the over the table?!'
Doesn't sound that funny, but it was hilarious at the time (consider I'm use to be in an all girls school, you would of thought male teachers would have the idea by now XD)
