Is it possible to turn on "Request a read receipt for this message" so i don't have to click it every time?

I'm not sure what you mean here. Can you explain a bit further?

Might be good. But the thing is, what is a receipt? I'm still not clear on it

send me a test pm, and check that box, then when you go to the PM area, you will see:
You have [#] confirmed and [#] unconfirmed private message receipts.

Ok, I had to rephrase what I was gonna say there :P

Anyways, no you can't and no I don't think it would be a good idea if it was.

Well, because that feature should not be used for...idk how to explain it but I only use it for serious issues in which I think the member may not respond back or ignore me. Usually only for moderation and I also use it if I am in a time crunch. Not for every PM I send because it is quite annoying and people can deny it from you anyways so it makes no sense. Well, actually you are a diary mod so idk about that...

i see what you mean, but, i like to be able to know if a person got my pm and decided not to reply, or did not get it yet.

I understand that but still...its just weird and feels to controlling if it was always set
