Ok, I've started really liking on of my good friends (I really can't seem to get a crush on someone unless they're good friends) and I really want to go out with her. It's quite obvious she likes me as well because she is always cuddling up to me at lunch etc. There's just one problem, one of my other good mates likes her >.< So basically, If I go out with this girl, I gain a relationship with a great friend, but I also get hated and possibly murdered by my other mate.
He's cool with me liking her, but isn't cool with me asking her. Any plans to get him to not be angry at me i.e Get her to ask me etc.

He'll muder you?! Thats a bit um excentric don't you think? Here's my opinion, if you like the girl then you should ask her out. Because he'll probably get to her before she comes to you.

Well, it gets worse now. My mate that fancies her as well is like, completely blanking me out and treating me like sh*t because apparently, I've been spending way too much time with her. I was spending this much time with her before I even liked her in that way. And now he's asking me to back off because "He liked her first". It's totally retarded!

Its not retarded you just strongly dislike it. Well at this point you should choose her because if he's going to treat you that way then he isn't showing how much he cares for you.

Dude, go for it because a friendship is less than a intimate or close relationship with the girl you like, please go for it because if u dont you"ll regret it you whole life.

Listen: if it's been a while, ask her out. Tell the guy "Hey, I've given you plenty of time. It's not my fault we both like her, why should I be the one to back off?" or something along those lines. Nobody should choose who you can and cannot like, so go for it. Remember, your friend has had enough time, and it wouldn't be fair to make you stop liking her just because he does.

well you should reconsider, what relationship is more important to you, your friend or your crush, i was in the same situation, but the only difference is that my friend didn't know i liked her, but i thought that if i ask her out and we get to be together i would lose my friendship with my pal, and if things won't work well between me and the girl and we would break up, i would lose two friends, so i stayed low and the felling for the girl passed and now we're ok; but you're the only one who knows what do you really feel for her, and if things are so real, one of you, i mean your mate or you, should know if to give it up or not, but the only one who can give the verdict is the girl, she'll have to chose between you or your mate, or chose to be only friends with you and your mate, so if she likes your mate as much as she likes you, i think she must be very confused and i think you should both let her decide what to do by her own. well you know what's better

Oh christ! Yet another pothole. It seems he hasn't done anything for all this time because another mate of his likes her aswell, and hasn't asked her out >.<
Now my friend is swearing at me and telling me "Not to f*ck over his mates". Apparently, im also following her around everywhere, which is an absolute lie! He's following her around way more! It's is if the last year hasn't counted for anything!

Here's were you start listening to us (sorry for the assertivness). If you love this girl then you shouldn't listen to these punks, because they seem to be all bark and no bite. (speak metaphorically) You can do this!

Yes. Don't post a question and then ignore what we've said - if they've been sitting on their bums, they don't deserve her!
