Im 14, It hurts when i pee and has done so for about a year, i thought it would go away but it didnt, and seeing a doctor would be embarrasing, could it have anything to do with masturbation?

It would only have something to do with masturbation if you had just done it and then peed, because then it would hurt, like it does with me. Also it could be because you eat alot of spicy food, i've heard (from a doctor mind) that if you eat a lot of spicy/hot food then it would raise the PH level in your urine and so it would burn. But i should definatley see a doctor, it won't be embarrasing becuase it's there job and do you really want to risk it if something was wrong? It's best to see a doctor to check. Please do it!
BTW - If it was due to masturbating then we'd all have pains when we pee!!!!

See a doctor. It could be a bladder infection or a urinary tract infection, which can be cleared up with some antibiotics. In the meantime, drink some cranberry juice, it's supposed to be good for helping to alleviate pain while urinating. Cranberry juice or not though, you should see a doctor to be sure you're ok. An infection that goes unchecked can get worse over time, so if this is an infection you're going to feel very silly when it gets bad because you were worried about being embarrassed. Doctors deal with these kinda of problems all the time, they won't care. Just get it checked out.

Did you have sexual intercourse because it could be a sexual transmitted disease. It could be a bladder infect or masturbation may have had something to do with it. Go see a doctor soon.
