Well, if you asked for her number, I think you should call her. At least to say hi and to talk a bit. I know I'd find it rude if a guy asked for my number and then never called. If it's like, she wrote it in your yearbook unprompted, it's up to you. But if you like her, I say go for it. I don't remember what the details were in the other topic, but if you've never hung out alone with this girl, try setting up a few days to hang out as friends before asking her on a real date. Get comfortable being around each other first, no pressure. Try bowling, the park, anything but a movie (unless you plan to do something else before or after. You can't talk in a movie!). If you really want to do a movie (or nothing else is an option), rent one and watch it at one of your houses, so you can comment on it and pause it here and there to tell one of those, "Oh my god, that totally reminds me of this one time when I..." stories. If you guys hit it off, and she seems to think you're cool, then ask her out. Make it clear that its a date so you don't confuse her. And good luck!
