ok so i didnt know where i should put this, so here it is:P

So i went to this place acalled camH center for addiction and mental health almost a year ago, for an assesment. They interviewed me and my dad together, then sepreatly.

About a month later i find an opened letter for them adressed to my dad, a report of everything i said to them, including what drugs i've done, and when i lsot my virginity and other personal things.
so i called and complained, im so pissed off about that.

so finally they called back and the lady said that she talked to the doctor that interviewed me and she said that she figured since they interviewed me together it was no problem.
she said she apoligizes and now that she looks back she relives it was inapropriet and definitly a breach of confidentiality.

since she addmitted it, isnt that against the law?
couldnt i sue them?
i mean i wouldnt, i just want to know if i could.

Yea and they could possibly lose their license, but they might throw that you were invading your dad's privacy by opening his mail. Either way it's going to hurt their pocket.

nah, i found it opened already, on the table layed out.
someone told me i woudlnt be able to because im underage, but then they would have had to told me that they were going to tell my dad, and they even admitted to there decision being wrong and a breach of confidentiality.

i dont want them to lose there lisence i jsut want some cash or something because i feel like that was totaly unfair

I say sue them and it'll probably be settled outside of court with a nifty sum in your pocket and it'll probably keep them from doing this to someone else.

exactly thats what i was thinking:P
but i'm not sure how to go about it
XD my friend with a really deep voice wants to call and say there my eterni and say i want to take this to court but we'd be willing to settle this in a small sum for my personal suffering XD
(i think he watches too much law & order)

I think that any attorney with half a brain would take this case and they could get you more money so you could just call an attorney and ask them.
