im trying to get buff. not so much for sports, but this is the only forum that seems physical related.

why am i getting buff? for the army. i don't want to go in looking like a string bean. i don't know my current weight, but i don't care so much about weight. i just want to look like i can hold my own.

what do you guys think? should i work out more, or keep this physic? really i don't care what anyone says! working out feels good chemically, and physically, so i'll keep at it!

Just keep doing what your doing, continue to challenge yourself with more weight and always try to lift till fail. Make sure you eat alot too.

You look like you can hold your own, but you should still work out, just to keep yourself looking like that and still getting stronger.

I agree with him.

Plus, going into basic training physically prepared will make it a lot easier for you. You'll get put into shape one way or the other through basic but might as well get ahead of the game.

Some of you say hes already there but i mean if you dont work out then you dont understand how addicting it is to get bigger and bigger. I mean you look good man, props on staying fit but id definatly continue to work on keeping the lean athletic/muscular look and just try to pack on some more pounds of muscle (which im sure you know, takes a long time and alot of work)

Well, you can continue to get more buff. Like it was said keep your body in shape by eating and exercising. There really is no point in which you have to stop. So if you want to keep/improve that physique just keep going :D

Good luck with the army

make sure that if you think you are big enough, you dont stop totally, as you will begin to lose muscle, just keep up what you are doing

Tottally agree! + Rep. Keep up the good work, and do a little more each day and youll be good to go. Be safe, and try not to get shot:lol:(Is that something to joke about, or is it just wrong?)

Yeah you are looking fairly physically fit as it is bro. There isnt much tightening up you could do now, its all about gaining muscle volume, and you are already doing that nicely too.

Just out of interest, what ARE your sit up reps, push up reps and how many miles do you cover in a run? (And keep in mind that running is Cardiovascular, bordering on Anaerobic, depending the speed you run at, and thus won't dramatically increase any muscle tone)

i actually JUST started working out/running about 2 months ago. i've always been physically active throughout my life, that's why i've always been "toned" more or less, without doing much at all.

30 x3 situps *every other day* amount is increasing every week
18 x3 pushups *every other day* amount is increasing every week
2 miles every day (jog pace) *i hope to hit 2 1/2 or 3 miles soon*
