Most people would advise against it and have said after they've done it that it was akward. But it's not always the case, sometimes it can make your friendship better, but this rarely happens, this is what happened to me so i was SO lucky. And to other people who want to j/o with a mate, make sure that they are comfortable with doing it as well as you, it's important as it could ruin your friendship. Oh and if it was akward, don't do it again.

I think it depends on the friend and if he really wants to do it. I have a friend I've done it with several times. We are both comfortable with it and plan on continuing to do it.
