i have a friend and we love eachother and yesterday things got really close..we both seemed comfortable and i was moving at a speed she seemed happy with..i mean today she text me and says she really needs to be alone and she doesn't want to see me...i mean what is this..im really upset because i know something is wrong but i don't know what. its making me really scared..and i don't know what to think or do..please someone help me..i mean we sent eachother loads of really loving texts and she just says this and its all finished..what do i do please help me

I say give her the space she wants and let her relax a bit then wait at least a couple days and ask whats wrong. None of us can know what she is feeling but its important to respect what she asks. After some breathing room she may be able to say what's wrong. If she continues to avoid you then its safe to say for some reason her heart isn't the same place as yours for the relationship.

However, I dont know if you should use your own discretion because you know her best.
Sometimes when someone says they want to be alone, its actually the last thing they want, but they just dont know how to talk about what it is that has upset them.
Do you think she may jsut not know how to talk about whats up?

I might be tempted to give her some reassurance that whatever happens, that I'd still be there for her, and if she doesnt want something, then that is fine, before I backed away.

But like I said, you might need to use your own discretion with that because we dont know her like you know her :-)
