Have the signature rules been changed, because i just changed mine, and it said that it had to be under 8 lines, has this been changed recently??

hm..i'm sure when i first joined i had like ten lines in my signature...

is it counting the img. code as a line?

EDIT: i only have four lines, including the picture...what the heck?...i wanted to make one part another line

A space is between lines is counted as a line.

No I meant that a space is counted in addition to the ones with content.

so the rules are 8 lines and under 500 characters basically.

With a max of 550 characters including BBCode or 450 excluding BBCode.

Remember sigs are not supposed to be big and long. They are what they are, a signature. Something to sign off with.
