Masturbation is only bad if it interferes with your life. If you are not hanging out with friends just to masturbate, it is not healthy. But besides that, there is no limit, just as long as it doesn't interfere.

It's also probably a good sign that you should cut down if your penis starts to look red, dry or flaking because the skin's been "moved around" too much. Most guys don't have that problem even when masturbating more than once a day. If you only do it once or twice every day (heck even three times; I know some friends that are like that) you shouldn't have any problems.

as long as there's no pain, and no blood, it's fine to masturbate. And, if you can live a normal life of a person, who doesn't get so horny that they go in alleys or in bathrooms and relieve themselves. That's a big excessive.
