Okay, so I've been going out with this guy for about a month now.
And to be honest, I've never felt this way with anyone before.
We were really close friends for about two years before we decided to date.
And he told me that he liked me for over a year before he asked me out.
He's never been much of a touchy feely person. But I guess I am more of one.
But anyways.
After he asked me out, I went away on this youth trip with my church. So I was in a different state for a weekend. And we really didn't talk over spring break. I really don't know why. But niether of us really knew what was going on in our relationship. So he ended up asking this other girl out that he didn't like as much as me or something. And I don't know. I found out and it pissed me off so a mutual friend talked to him and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING! and he like apologized and everything. And he broke it off with her and said like that he didnt know what was going on so he just did it.
They're still friends, which is something I am not comfortable about.
She gives me dirty looks in the hallway.
But now to my problem.
Everythings been okay I guess. We're talking a lot. But I've only hugged him once in this whole month of dating. Nothing more. Just one hug.
And a friend of the other girl, and I, told me that everytime he talks to the other girl he hugs her.
But to me he acts like he isn't a physical touch sort of person.
And he is really down on himself a lot. And basically always says he doesn't deserve me.
I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
But the thing is that normally I would just confront the person. But I really love this kid and I hate making him upset and whenever he thinks he did something wrong he like flips out and hangs it over his head for weeks and weeks.
Any help would be appreciated.
