Python - easy?

To all of those who know even a little Python, how difficult is it? I'm planning on learning it soon, but I need to know if I can spend 10 minutes learning it between this and that or if I should dedicate a fair amount of time. Granted, by learn I mean just to get a basic understanding. Also, do you use any IDEs for it?

Well i haven't got round to learning it yet, I will be starting to learn it shortly.
But any way from what Ive been told and read about its apparently not that hard to learn.
