Ive got a question does not getting enough sleep prevent growth or stunt it or something? Cause normally every night i get like 8 hours of sleep and that doesnt seem like that much. Or is that good sleep.

Also im like 5'1 and most kids in my class are like 5'4-5'6 lol

It can play a bit of a role in it, however there are many factors that affect whether you will grow to your fullest height potential. Sleep is one, as most growing is done when we sleep and diminished amounts may affect height, but Nutrition and activity play large roles and of course Genetics is a key part.

You do receive an adequate amount of sleep at 8 hours (although 9~10 is recommended) which is not a problem. It is most likely that you've yet to hit your major pubertal growth spurt and many of them have and will most likely catch up sooner or later.

i dont think that it will cause too many problems if u were sleeping for like 2 hours a night, maybe, but at 8 hours, you'll be fine

You might just have to wait a while. Last year I was the shortest boy in all my classes, but I grew a lot over the summer. I'm still several inches shorter than most of my classmates, but it's not as bad as last year. It sounds like you're getting plenty of sleep, so I wouldn't worry you'll grow.
