How does one go about having one made for themselves?

What are the requirements?

And all of that.

You can get a blog by going to this page (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/blog.php?), and clicking on the link that says "Your Blog" on the left sidebar. From that page, you can go to another left sidebar and edit/post to your blog.

You can request your own member forum here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3928). Just keep in mind that you must be a member for 30 days and have 50 posts to request your own forum.

And something else that bothers me. Why do other members bother helping other people? After all that's why there's staff on forums and other websites. They volunteer to do their jobs.

Members are just regular posters on the forum boards. Nothing more. so forum moderators should be assigned to do their jobs without any help.

A lot of the members feel that they can help. It is fine but we prefer it if it is reported instead of trying to do it publically. So if you ever have a problem report it and don't reply to thread.

Also, Zach you were showing how there were buttons, there is also one at the bottom. Its a forum linky thing. Next to the other 2.

A staff member isn't always online and if a member helps then you get your question answered much quicker. Just because someone has a blue, green, or red user name doesn't mean their answer is more right than someone who's been around for awhile. Help is nice because a lot has to be done here and if there's one less thing we have to explain, it allows us more time to focus on what else needs sorting.

Also, just because moderators are assigned to forums to moderate, it doesn't by any means make them experts who can answer every single question correctly and in depth [well, except maybe Jessi :P] It's good to have a collaboration of many people because then the original poster has a much better chance of getting the best information possible.
