I am 16, and i eat like heaps, and im talking heaps, and i seem to not put on any muscle or weight. I go to the gym 2 times a week, play heaps of sport, and have just grown heaps. Could this be just b'se im growing, or could there be something medically wrong with me?

i would think its because you are growing, i wouldn't think its medically related at all.

Either you're still growing, or another possibility is that the exercises you are doing aren't for building muscle/gaining weight, and they're just burning all the calories from the food you've been eating.

i am going to the gym twice a week though, doing weights with a personal trainer to 45 mins

Try to boost up the intensity of your work out. Lifting weights is not always the best way to increase intensity and training exclusively with heavy weights may actually slow down your progress.

There is the possibility that you have a fast metabolism meaning your body burns fat off very fast and without you having to do much at all

yeah thats what i think, but i mean im pretty active, but i cannot seem to get any bigger, its actually really fustrating, if i do weights i dont seem to get results, except for my abs, which i now have a six pack, but b'se im so skinny everwhere else, people call it a "skinny pack" instead, its really fustrating

well then, you all clearly werent informed, it shows that heavy muscles stun grow point, so in my opinion, we should all just try to stay semi fit, well those of us who are going through puberty.

It doesn't really matter how big you are, just how healthy you are. I'm by no means large, but I'm very fit and athletic. I'm 5'10", 120 pounds, and I run a mile in less than five minutes. Everyone has a different body type. I've never been able to build large muscles, but what I have is very efficient.

You said "heaps" A LOT
...in that post :eyebrow:

Anyway, I agree with the others who have said it could jsut be the way your body is for now. As long as you are healthy. You might fill out some more in a couple of years.
Havent you asked your personal trainer what you can do/eat to build up more muscle?

Either way, just be careful, you're still young and you're still growing so make sure you dont overdo it.
