I have got scoliosis, and had an operation to have it sorted last summer.

Scoliosis is a curvature(s) of the spine, and can be in the shape of a "C" or an "S". Mine was an "S" curve, and was very serious. Although the spine can go through curves during puberty, I would highly recommend you go and see your doctor about this, and possibly be conferred to a pediatrician.

I hope you do not have scoliosis, but please take my advice. You DO NOT want to go through what I did-trust me!

I haven't heard anything about scoliosis causing a delay in puberty. I'm not exactly seeing how it could. And if he knows he has curviture of the spine, that is usually detected by an x-ray of the spine ordered by the doctor so I'm going to assume the original poster as been to one about that, I'm not sure of your age, but if its something that is concerning you, as embarassing as it may be, mention it to your doctor. It couldn't hurt.
