you may be a little early, but its not unsual. lots of guys on this site alone have said they started puberty when they were 10. your friends are not wellinformed obviously because you are totally normal.

Well. you don't really "get" puberty. Just a time of development that you start usually around the age 10 to 15. Yes, I would say 10 is a bit early. I wouldn't say it's unusual. But it doesn't happen to everyone. Everyone starts at different ages. Would make it a lot easier if we all started at the same time. But that's life I guess.

Everyone starts at a different age so everybody has a different time of maturing.
