I ask this because I have a male friend who everone thinks is in the closet (I probably think it the most, but hate assuming that he is) but he always insists that he's only camp rather than gay... And I thought that being camp and being gay were the same thing, so I'm hoping someone can help me identify the differences....?

Thanks.

Camp is synonymous with being gay in the sterotypical view of being gay, but being camp generally means acting feminine.
