I think in the bible it talks about sexual purity; maybe masturbation was implied in that part? I am a christian. My dad is a pastor actually and I masturbate, though I don't tell anyone except my cousin.

Most Protestants say "no," although some very conservative sects say "yes."

I'm not a Christian, so obviously my answer is "no" (or "probably not") but that's up to your system of belief.

As everyone stated it depends on your beliefs and your own personal morals. Obviously you are going to have someone disagreeing with you either way. You just need to find why they say its wrong and if you agree with those beliefs. Just because it's normal doesn't make it right to do and we can't tell you what your beliefs and morals are.

well. you can't tell someone their beliefs are wrong, they have to discover it for themselves. thats all i was saying. But yes those two things can change a lot of things. But we wont go into that right now. :P
