My mp3 is messed up. It has a slow response and it doesnt remember my settings.
Everytime I switch between songs, there's about a 4 second wait before the new song starts.
Everytime I turn it on, it takes longer than it usually should.(It takes about 20 seconds, when it usually took around 8)
Every time I turn it on, the screen starts on the language screen, so I always have to choose a language before doing something.
My settings are never remembered, so I have to reset them every time I turn it on.
I can recharge it, and it usually has a long life. The problems started recently, maybe 2-3 weeks. Its been fine for about the 7 months before. It is possible it got wet. Thanks in advance, hope you can help.

Try changing the batteries and if the Problem persist
Go to one Computer fix place or the store you bought the MP3 so they can try to fix it

Back-up your songs and restore it to factory settings.

I want to thanks for the advice, but its become so bad, I cant download the firmwire, and restoring it to the factory settings doesnt do anything. Now it resets almost everytime I try to choose something. Im not sure what to do now, and I dont want to get a new one. If it persists, Ill go to the local Radio Shack.

I'll think about it. Im not an Apple fan, but iPods are okay. I like Sansa better because its not as popular, so if I lose it, theres no confusion to whose it is.

Sansa does make good mp3 players I've had 2 of them(1 stolen other screen cracked) and I loved them, and the good thing about customer support is that they are willing to replace it if anything is wrong with it. I tried to take mine back to radioshack but the women who sold me the extended warranty lied and said it was insurance.

Search Google and see if there is a set of keys. If not then try to look for an update

Hooray for me! I fixed it, and its better than ever. After reading a few people on another site's comments, I managed to put it into recovery mode, install an update, and got it back. It works perfectly and I can finally be at peace. :D :yeah:
