When I was masturbating last night I was smelling this horrid odor and I thought that it must have been my armpits or sweat.

But when I ejaculated the stench was coming from my penis!

Is this normal to happen? Because it's never happened to me before.

I have read on this site of something happening like that. It was probably your cum. It has never happened to me personally but I think you are pretty normal.

Personally, my semen always smells bad for whatever reason, so it most likely isn't a problem. But your diet can affect taste of semen, so if you've been eating differently, maybe that is affecting the smell.

I think it's like when you eat asparagus... after eat them, the urine smells horrible. with the sperm is the same I think.

Yeah, diet can affect ejaculation smell. Random foods like asparagus can cause it, as can (generally) protein-rich meats. Fruit juices improve it, and taste.

If you're having problems with it smelling after you ejaculate, try urinating. It clears out the passages and gets rid of residual sperm that may smell offensively.

Well, if washing the exterior of the penis didn't remove the smell at all, it is probably an interior smell, right? Why do you think it's coming from the exterior penis and not the urethra? I don't think there's really a way to tell the difference.

And is it really that strong? Because the penis does have a slight natural smell most of the time for a lot of guys...but you can only smell it if you get really close.
