Use this HTML code in the title.

<span style='color:red; font-weight:bold;'>ANNOUNCEMENT TITLE HERE</span>That particular code will produce red but you can edit the html code and put another color.

Personally, I discourage plentiful colors in titles. It comes to be very annoying for me (and I'm sure others, as well) if there is more than two colors for titles.

Its worked for me, its worked for the OP, and its worked for many other announcements. You are typing or copying the code incorrectly.

Well I'm copying and pasting it. I did the annoucement and it didn't go up in colors.
