auto/car/bike room?

maybe a place for the people that work on cars/ enjoy mechanical things would be worthwhile. because you already have a tech spot, some places to post stories.. how about a place for someone to post [maybe] pictures of their car[s], possible plans, and/or drag race times =] j/k

I don't thinnk the topic is broad enough, and as well we have a lot of members here who can't drive. But, that's not to say it wouldn't make a good diary.

Its an interesting topic and I really do like the idea, but I don't think we'd have enough demand for such a forum at this time.

There's a link to the diary section at the bottom of the forum index where members can have a forum about any topic. I think that'd work out better.

You do need to be here for 30 days and have 50 posts before requesting a diary, though.

Usually I say straight away that there is no demand for this, but I think we could have some demand for a forum like this. Not a massive one, but still at the same time some demand. As suggested above try out a diary first and see what kind of traffic it gets, if it gets a fair amount then we would definitely consider it as a main forum.

first i think this is a pretty good plan. there is already like 4 people that like it in this post. also in the room if people were trying to plan like a far trip by car (if gas gets cheaper :)) then we could get short cuts and stuff or if someone wants to get a new car we could make recomendations.. but mabe we should have a poll on this topic. finally in the forum Other Works i think there is barely a page of stuff so if there is so little theree then i think we could make this a forum.

i think this is a really great idea i would definily use it on occasion i think at firs it might be a little dead but i bet i would become rather popular as more people joined!!
