Okay, first of all, I have not had any type of motion sickness or had a stomach flu for 6 years now, which makes this a little weird for me.

My school's band was going on a trip that ended yesterday, yesterday being about 18 hours of driving. Towards the end, I started to fell a bit nausous, which had never happened on a vehicle for me. I ended up throwing up, luckily getting it in a bag and not everywhere. I felt a lot better, and we soon stopped at our home, and I thought that it was just motion sickness.

Then later that night, I woke up and threw up again, about an hour later. I ended up throwing up three more times after that, on the last two throwing up basically nothing at all. I feel much better now, but no one else on the bus, and that was like 50 kids, seemed to be having problems. Do you think this is just some random coincidence, or something to be worried about?

I would play it safe and get to a doctor as soon as possiple. Until then, get rest, and drink a lot of fluids.

The problem is that my mom thinks it is just a normal stomach flu, so I don't think she'll want to go to the doctor just for that. I'm not worried about it a whole ton myself, I'm getting better now, and I think maybe since my body interprettes the stomach flu as a cold,
the combination of it and the 18 hour bus ride did it for me.

Does she know your worried about it? You might want to get that point across to her.

No, becaause I'm really not worried about it that much, I just want to know if anybody knows of any strange sickness like this, because I have had stomach flus in my life before. It isn't horrendously odd.

Well, I'd just try and get a lot of sleep and drink a lot. Give it a few days, and see if you get better.

Oh, the other thing I wondered is that people always say to drink ginger ale, which I'm doing, but does it actually help, and is it good for me to be drinking it? What other fluids than water help? Thanks.

Gatorade and flat coke work usually.

Flat coke? I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get that right now but maybe some gatorade.

And I just had another thought. What if it was some kind of food poisoning or something since I was eating at a lot of restaurants over those days. Is this possible?

That could be possible. That's what (I think) happened to me a couple of months ago. There's really not much you can do about it though, just let it works its course. Sleep and drink a lot of fluids, like everyone else said.
