If by biological you mean it being passed down through genes etc. Then the answer is enviromental, you can't be gay by genes, it's just not something that's in your genes. Something being passed down by genes is like eye colour or hair colour, but being gay is always enviromental, it's to do with your surroundings and how you are brought up.

There are no physical signs of being gay.

Thats the old nature vs nurture
Its a huge debate in the psychological community
Some say nature
Some say Nurture
Some say a mix of the two
As of right now though
Nothing can be proven categorically either way

I honestly think it has something to do with your brain and you are like this upon birth because i DEFINITLY wasnt brought up in a way that would make me gay and i am!!!! since i was rather young i have always been conflicted about my gender and sexuality. now i like meing a dude but i am still gay!! and dont see a reson why it couldnt be passed down in genes they have found differences in the brains of violent people and also found those differences can be passed to a offspring. why couldnt the case be similar with a gay person.

well from a Freudian perspective we are naturally omnisexual and our sexualities are determined in our psychosexual developments and our superego developments :)

genes would be like, hereditery stuff...
yeah that means one of your parents have to be "gay" for the child to be too
but that's not the case right?
so i would say environmental

Genetics. You mother and father may both have blond hair, and yet somehow you were born with brown hair. Does this mean that you mother cheated on your father? No, not necessarily, because genetic material is a complex map of millions of years of gene splicing (love making). Genetics is responsible for everything from hair and eye color, to posture and finger length. It is also responsible for a slice of your behavior, and mental health. My father inherited schizoprenia from his mother whos mother and father were both in complete mental health (though I suppose you can't prove this, there just is a consensus amongst relatives that this is true). My mother is very obsessive compulsive, much like her mother, and I tend to be a bit crazy and obsessive myself. Our behaviors are very much linked to our genetic buildup. Our sexuality is likely inherited from genetics also. Not that homosexuality is prevalent in my own family, that I know of, of course, but perhaps it isn't a dominant gene and has laid dormant for generations on to choose me.....why god.....you son of a bitch......*raises fist to sky* I get you one of these days....you just wait....
I don't really see how homosexuality would be of benefit to society from an evolutionary stand point honestly though. I suppose it could be a sort of natural population control, correlating (presumably) with a recent increase in homosexuality as a proportion of the population. But then again, this information could be skewed owing to the fact that homosexuality is also much more accepted these days, so more people would come out of the "closet".
I'm hungry.

I think its nature. Its just nurture can make it easier for some people, therefore letting them come out. It can also make it hard meaning other people in a different enviroment can't come out.
