I know you don't want us to ask why you stopped, but I think it's important information to have. It's important to use your motivation for quitting to your benefit when you are quitting so we need to know what that is.

Otherwise, the best advice we can give you is keep yourself busy, and that's pretty generic.

well i just want to let you know its perfectly normal, mostly all guys do it. and also i heard something like if you dont ejaculate in a long time, you will get blueballs where ur balls swell up and hurt alot, but i am not completely sure on that, never actually has happened to me. but if u want to stop then control yourself, just dont do it but its really really really hard to do that

well the reason I really want to stop is because (like most guys) I feel VERY guilty afterwards; right after I ejaculate... i think like.."what the hell r u doing (my name)... why r u doing this?..."

and also ive had so many speakers talk about not being 'sexually acive'. well he said masturbating is included. NOt that im carring so much about that... its just the fact that im 'sexually active' at 13... it just seems wierd.


besides, i cant get off the train now that I love the fear and sensation of doing it... its like im trapped..

I'm not so sure about stopping masturbation. I'd say that would be next to impossible if your saying like you never want to masturbate EVER again. But heres some advice, its all about self control, when to think of things and when to not. If you don't want stay inside and happen to get on the computer and see some porn or something like that then go biking or go outside and do something active. Go read the second you think of something that would make you aroused.

But give more detail like do you want to stop FOREVER or until your older like 15 or 16 and have had sex or some version of that.

ok dude haha, you dont need to stop because one, being sexually active is having SEX, masturbation doesnt have the word sex in it at all so ur fine on that part, two, you shouldnt feel guilty, just think, everyone does it! its not bad, theres nothing bad about it, all you get is a great feeling afterwards and maybe a little mess. but that shouldnt be why u dont j/o. i dont think you should worry about it and not feel guilty, you are fine.

I really hate situations like this. By "speakers" I'm guessing you're talking about religious ones. It really doesn't matter what you believe, the whole thing that is wrong with the situation is that these people have effectively "trained" your mind to MAKE you feel guilty. After ALL of these different people denouncing it, don't you think it would cause this sorta thing? Like imagine instead they'd have told you to NOT be sexually active, and control those urges BY MASTURBATION. I think the guilt would be much less of a problem then.

The Bottom Line.

If you really want to do what is BEST, basically what will make you feel the happiest, you need to adress some other things. Just for a minute stop thinking about how you can stop masturbating, and start asking yourself these few questions:

1. WHY do I feel guilty?

2. Is this guilt a result of me doing something stupid or wrong?

3. OR could this guilt be caused just by outside influences ("speakers").

4. Is this guilt coming from ME? Or is this guilt being forced upon me from hearing this kind of message over and over again.


Think about it... you might just feel more at peace about things whether you quit or not. I know you told us not to tell you "why stop" but I gotta say despite whatever I say I KNOW that you probably will not be able to stop. NO ONE can really; instead try to stop the guilt, which actually CAN be fixed. Masturbation can't be stopped or "fixed" because there is nothing wrong with it in the FIRST place. It's these false feelings of guilt that are the REAL culprit.

UMMM.... Just to let you know most guys do not feel guilty aferwards, and you shouldnt. but since u want to guit i would say when u are feeling horny just put something into your muns that is NOT sexy and that should turn u off for a while.....but you should know when a teen goes for a long time without masterbating they often have wet dreams.

I know you didn't want us to tell you why are you stopping. And to be honest we've ignored that, but there's a good reason, as that canadian guy said, i really hate these religious speakers to, they sound just like friars we had in england in the middle ages, who went to towns and villages and made up things that god doesn't like. Where in the bible does it say that masturbating is bad? Please tell me. Anyway, i'm ranting again, if you really want to stop try doing yoga or try relaxing activities....such as...masturbating

it was your choice to choose masturbating.its very hard to just come off like that.maybe masturbate fewer times a week, then slowly stop.Saying to yourself stuff that makes you defensive to people who masturbate
