Irretrievable Relationships

I've become of the opinion that my friendship with my ex and another one of my friends has reached an irrettievable position. We all fell out really badly a few months ago, it was really messy and confusing. We all had a hard time when our friend drowned and I fear this has contributed to our distance and break up as friends.
I wish that things could go back to how they were before when we all remotely resembled happy people. But the world doesnt work like that and I accept it. It's just hard seeing them both every day and our other friends are finding it difficult because they, quite rightly, aren't taking sides.

I've figured out within the last few days..sometimes you have to do things you really don't wanna do if you want a relationship to survive (no I'm not talkin about me and joseph this is a friend thing again) If it doesn't bother you to lose that person then just do what ya do and sit back and watch it fly out the window..otherwise you need to be the one to initiate it..tell em the truth..be like I don't feel close to you anymore and it hurts me. I want us to be okay. If they still blow you off after you try..THEN it's probably irretreivable but atleast you'll be able to look back and say that the reason it's irretreivable is their fault...
