Next year at my high school, I will have gym class every other day. After gym classes, the coach makes the students take showers. On my visiting day, i asked a 9th grader if he showered, and he told me that a lot of the kids did not shower, but just put on more deodorant. I am kinda a "clean freak" but i am nervous about having to take showers next year because at camp, one and in while i would shower during the day if there was a dance that night and i had a full, hard erection. I am not asking if i am gay or not, i know what i am and that is none of your, the reader's, business. I just wanted to know if there are any tips on how not to have an erection, or hide one or anything else that might be helpful.

There's really nothing sexy about public showers, gay, straight, or whatever. You're probably just getting an erection because you don't want to. Ironically, that makes it more likely because it fires off the same brain functions as are involved in starting an erection for sex.

The best you can do is try to keep it out of your mind. That's difficult now that you're focusing on it, but it's not impossible. Focus your mind on something else beforehand (not just something contrived, but something you seriously want to think about) and just get it done. That's the best help I can offer.

A good idea is to imagine the feeling of being soft - if you get an erection.

A more drastic measure... Make sure no one is looking and pinch yourself on your inner-thigh, that shocks me back to soft in an instant.

Think about the fatest ugliest most disgusting person you know and picture them naked. That always works for me :-)

You're thinking about. That is most likely why you are getting an erection. I could care less if you are gay or straight. Think about something else. If you wish, think about how many germs are in the shower if you are such a clean freak. :P Seriously. All you can do is think about something else.

Just try to take as quick as a shower as you can. Get in and get out and just not think about anything. Or try to go before or after most of the other boys.

Usually when i have a boner...I just walk around in cirlcles in the Bathroom.
It moves the blood from there to your legs. And it keeps your mind off of it

I guess my advice is to not care. Straight or not, you can make it into sort of a joke around people, if need be. Act like nothing is wrong, and transitively there will be nothing wrong with the situation!

if the guys look at ur penis, thats their problem..just cover it up with ur soap bottle, or ur hands...LOTS and LOTS of guys at my school do that..just b/c they dont want people seeing..its not a big deal to cover yourself
