Okay, so basically, I've smoked. Four times. Regular cigarettes.
I'm worried about chance of disease, because I'm only 14. If I get a check up will they find the tar or any detail of me smoking? =\

Four times shouldn't be enough to cause a disease. There are ways to tell if you smoke, but I still don't think four time should be much to worry about. Just don't get addicted.

Thanks, that doesn't make me worry much. I only puffed once on the fourth time and stopped

Four times really wont cause any diseases but don't get addicted.

Well, let me be clear. I forgot or miscounted. I only smoked three times. Twice in February on the same date, and once about a week ago. I've quit. But, how could a doctor tell if I've smoked at lets say..a check up? physical?

well. im pretty sure they wouldnt be able to tell at all. personally i think smoking only about 4 cigs in such a large time frame would be just like inhaling pollution in a populated city.

They could tell if you had been smoking within the last week i believe from a blood test, they could pick up the nicotine in your blood. As has been said, the toxins that you would have inhaled over the long period of time that you smoked the cigarettes will not have done you any long lasting harm. If you are worried about the effects of smoking, or that you might get caught, the simple solution is just not to smoke at all.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing to worry about, and I wouldn't put down that I have smoked on a doctor's flyer or paper or anything. I think you're just fine, and that is so little that nothing could really happen to you. Keep in mind that people who have problems smoke many times a day for awhile.
But I suggest that you don't do it at all anymore, just so you make sure that you don't get addicted and never have a problem with it! =]

I think that should be of concern. If you liked it you may start an addiction. This addiction can lead to you being a constant smoker which most likely will cause problems with you down the road. I suggest you don't even pick one up again. There are many problems that can result through smoking. So good luck and try your hardest to resist any temptation, urge, or even pressure to smoke.

3 cigarettes wont be noticeable, as someone said above you breathe in enough shit around the city anyway. Takes a lot more than 3 fags to do any damage..

I don't know-- I smoked just half a cigarette a month or so ago, and it turned my teeth yellow for several days!

thankss everyone. I haven't smoked since the last time, which I feel great about. I don't really feel the need to do it anymore, and I'm not really that tempted. =) Thanks everyone, you're all a life saver! haha

Thats great. Kudos for that. You "experimented" with cigarettes adn you didn't enjoy them . Try not to start again. :)
