im 15 years old and have armpit hair and naval hair. my parents dont know that i have it yet and i dont want to show them because ill be emberassed..........this is stopping me from going swimming and doing some other stuff to but i dont want to shave it off so i need some advice.

A lot (most, probably) of boys your age have armpit hair, and a lot have naval hair too. I'd be shocked if anyone made fun of you for it, and if they did, so what? It's totally ridiculous to.

well it's just you growing up. It doesn't matter about your hair, it happens, it's part of life, and there's nothing to be embarrassed about. It shouldn't stop you from swimming and doing things you like. Take charge and don't care what other people have to say - besides, now you're becoming a man!!

Why should you be embarassed that your body is developing. I'm sure your parents know what happens during puberty, they were teenager once themselves. There isn't a reason to hide it.

i felt the EXACT same way so when i went swimming and stuff my parents said nothing. they acted like nothing ever happened so i dont think you should worry.

There is nothing to be ashamed of. They know that you are growing and they probably already know you have that hair anyways. If you have had it for a few months I would guess that it is possible that they have seen something. So don't be embarrased and enjoy your childhood while you can. Good luck!

There is nothing to be embrassed about, boys at your age will aslo have hair, and they will be feeling as awkward as you are.

well i know how you feel, because i have felt the same way. mainly for me it was because i had this hair and not many if any of my friends had it. in my case i got over it and don't care anymore. but for you, to be able to do things like swimming and whatever, you are left with 2 choices: 1) you shave your hair off or 2) face your fear like i did. i can assure you that there is nothing to be afraid of from someone who's experienced this.

its natural and u shouldnt be embarrassed. but if you are then you can shave it.
