I understand what schizophrenia is and everything but would be very grateful if someone here wouldn't mind talking about the feelings that go hand in hand with this particular mental illness. If anyone feels that they wouldnt mind doing so please pm me or drop me an email.
Thanks xxx

My dad is a schizo. He refuses to accept it and blames all his problems on other people. He has split personalities, and sees people who arn't there who give him advice. He bothers me, and I'm uncomperatble around him.

 Sorry to hear that hun. Do you feel like you want to keep distance between you and your dad?

What's it like to discover that something you believe to be real, isn't real?

I was wondering anyone whos on meds for scizophrenia what are they like? Do they make you feel "normal" (for want of a better word)? Or like a zombie?

I'm paranoid schizo. The kind that Josh has starts during puberty, but I developed paranoid schizophrenia for a number of reasons. But for me, sometimes being in the place where bad things happen sets symptoms off, while other times, I can be in places and see things that no one else sees. Being schizo is a gift: schizos can see and hear things that others can't. Schizophrenia can sometimes make life really hard, but for me, its that feeling of being different that helps me to get through it.
