There's a lad in two of the same classes as me and I'm pretty sure he has some sort of disability, I don't know if it's ADHD or Autism or what but he struggles to act appropriately in situations and often misbehaves in class. Anyway he's quite a decent lad, friendly and all, but now we've been in the same class for a few week he's got quite comfortable around me and he seems to like pretending to fight me and stuff like that. It's all friendly and that but he keeps digging me in the arm and he's not a soft lad. Hurts to be honest and I'm not sure how to deal with it. I'd like to just put up with it, would probably be easier, but if I let this continue I worry I'll lose my temper and I don't wanna do that.

Any advice?

Have you made any attempts to ask him to stop?

Depending on his disability, he is probably more likely to react well to an empathetic approach, like explaining to him -- in as few words as possible -- that it hurts you, or that you don't like it. In most cases, tying it to his emotions and helping him understand better ways to show affection, is more likely to be effective.

Everything in life is an experiment though, so there is never a guaranteed outcome.

this. doesn't sound like he is being a bully. probably does not know it is causing you any pain. try talking to him, gentle, but honest. hopefully he takes it well. if not, well, a guy wouldn't stop messing with me one time till I knocked him on his ass. never messed with me again

edit: I am not recommending you hit someone who is special needs. but you get the point. now, if this is no soft lad, in it becomes a elf-defense situation, don't try to hurt him, but you can defend yourself
