i think it would be a great idea to ask her to the dance. then if that goes well, then sometime after you could ask her to be your girlfriend.

Go right ahead ask her it'll work out! but um dont throw the term smoking hot around her some girls might find it offensive, use terms like pretty, beautiful and gorgoues

u should see if she is going to the dance first. then casually meet up with her and ask her to dance.
