I had gotten the sad feeling when I first started masturbating thinking I was doing something wrong if that is what you mean. When I had gotten older and realized that masturbating is normal, then the feeling went away.

If your question is if you are feeling down and masturbating is a way to pick you up, then that is normal because when you jack off that gives you good feelings.

I think there's a term for this but I'm not sure. Basically your brain has to recover from being at that high moment of intense pleasure, so by comparison it's very sad after the pleasure goes away. There is definitely a change, due to the release of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin and endorphins at orgasm but for me the after orgasm feeling is more one of being relaxed and sleepy rather than depressed.
